In this system the generator / engine is placed between the endothermic engine and the hydraulic system
SERIAL HYBRID 1: the electricity, as well as supporting the hydraulic power, can be used to supply motors or other electrical systems. The serial solution guarantees the greatest fuel saving as the diesel engine rpm can become independent from the required power.
Through a clutch placed before the hydraulic part, it is possible to exploit only the electrically operated functions.
SERIAL HYBRID 2: differs from Serial Hybrid 1 due to the presence of electrical functions only. This means that the generator / electric motor connected to the endothermic engine has the only function of generating electric power and therefore no support for other hydraulic functions.
Gear Pumps and Motors
Turolla gear pumps are available in aluminium or cast iron with a wide range of displacements, from 0.25 cc to 100 cc, with continuous pressure up to approx. 300 bar, to suit a wide variety of applications and needs.
In addition, low-noise versions for mobile and industrial applications are also available, where DB reduction is of major importance.
